Hanky Bonnet

Our handmade hanky bonnet actually starts as a precious handkerchief and with a few ribbons and stitches, it becomes a christening bonnet. As the story goes, the baby that wears the bonnet can then pull those ribbons and stitches and return their precious bonnet back into a handkerchief. If it is a little girl, she carries the hanky down the aisle on her wedding day or if it is a boy, he gives it to his bride-to-be.
